The challenge<\/h2>

Lethal Cosmetics reached its limits in WooCommerce. Every customisation to banners, landing pages or BYOP products required developer support, which made spontaneous changes impossible. As custom code, the warehouse management system was closely interlinked with the WooCommerce database and created dangerous dependencies. The migration had to handle complex data structures: Products, customer accounts, order history including bundle configurations, vouchers and extensive metadata. In addition, the warehouses in the USA and Germany needed to be professionally managed with separate catalogues, currencies and prices.<\/p>\nlethalcosmetics.com<\/a><\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

The solution<\/h2>

We migrated the entire shop from WooCommerce to Shopify and fully integrated the existing BYOP configurator into Shopify as an app. All data was transferred in a structured way, from products and customers to orders with bundle logic, vouchers and custom meta fields. We replaced the proprietary warehouse system with SKUSavvy, a modern SaaS solution with native Shopify integration. Klaviyo replaced the previous newsletter system and works perfectly with Shopify. We use Shopify Markets for international management, whereby both warehouses are managed centrally with individual catalogues, currencies and prices. Metafield entries were standardised and the backend optimised with intuitive templates.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
