In addition to the hotel and restaurant, Fischhaus Glubigsee offers its guests fish specialities in its delicatessen snack bar. These can now be ordered and paid for in advance via a simple purchase in the shop. The challenge<\/h2>

Fischhaus Glubigsee needed a modern website that not only captures the beauty of the location, but also provides practical functions such as pre-ordering fish specialities. The main focus was on CMS functions to easily update content such as menus or seasonal offers. However, sales and booking functions were also to be integrated. Of particular importance was the integration of a room reservation system and a small shop for pre-ordering fish sandwiches, including pick-up times - a function that makes it easier for day guests such as cyclists and canoeists to plan their breaks.<\/p>\n

As the budget was manageable and the implementation was to take place within a few weeks, a simple solution was sought that combined various shop and booking solutions. The solution<\/h2>

After careful consideration, Shopify was chosen. Shopify not only offers a sufficient CMS environment for the requirements, but also the advantage of an integrated shop with which pre-orders and flexible pick-up times can be realised. Shopify greatly simplifies the administration of the website, as the system is very user-friendly.<\/p>\n

Room reservations are made via an external system for the hotel industry that harmonises with Shopify. This solution separates the hotel and booking area from the actual shop system, which makes it very easy to use, especially for the team on site.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

The benefit<\/h2>

Thanks to Shopify and our training, the team can now quickly and easily add new content, such as seasonal offers or new landing pages, and draw attention to current events. Above all, the day guests benefit: they can pre-order fish sandwiches and specify their pick-up time - making it easy to plan breaks during cycling or canoeing tours.<\/p>\n

Fischhaus Glubigsee itself was able to launch a user-friendly website within a very short space of time. The hotel and restaurant are skilfully presented and can be advertised. Thanks to the fast implementation with Shopify, the project budget could be optimally utilised. The integration of a professional hotel management system (PMS) noticeably simplified processes for guests and operators alike.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
